Terms & Disclaimers

These Terms govern your use of PawCustody, operated by NeuroBling AI LLC ("PawCustody," "we," "us"). By using PawCustody you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. What PawCustody Is

PawCustody is a coordination tool for people who share a pet after a breakup, separation, divorce, or high-conflict relationship. Coordination happens only through structured preset choices — dropdowns, checkboxes, buttons, toggles, and tap-to-confirm flows.

2. What PawCustody Is Not

PawCustody is a coordination tool only. It does not provide:

• Legal advice or custody advice
• Mediation or conflict resolution
• Personal safety advice
• Veterinary advice
• Insurance or financial advice
• Emergency services of any kind
• AI-generated legal, veterinary, custody, or safety recommendations
• Free-text messaging, chat, comments, notes, or email between users
• Document, photo, receipt, or file uploads

PawCustody does not guarantee court acceptance, legal enforceability, co-parent cooperation, schedule adherence, or any particular outcome.

3. Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app to harass, threaten, stalk, or coerce another person
• Misrepresent pet ownership, schedules, locations, or care details
• Access another user's account or data
• Interfere with the app's security or operation
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the app
• Use the app for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activity

5. Structured Content & Sharing

All coordination content is built from preset options provided by the app. PawCustody does not accept free-form text, uploads, or person-to-person messages. Each co-parent makes their own selections; approvals, schedule decisions, and log entries are attributed to the party who made them. One co-parent cannot act on behalf of the other.

6. High Conflict Mode

When High Conflict Mode is on, non-emergency coordination is paused (adding availability, proposing or deciding schedules, approving locations, non-emergency log entries). The Animal Welfare Emergency preset alert remains available. You are responsible for using High Conflict Mode appropriately.

7. No Professional Advice

PawCustody does not provide legal, custody, veterinary, financial, tax, insurance, mediation, or mental health advice and does not create any professional relationship. Consult a qualified attorney, veterinarian, mediator, or other professional for advice about your situation.

8. No Emergency Services

PawCustody is not an emergency service. The Animal Welfare Emergency preset is a coordination signal between co-parents only. For real emergencies involving an animal, contact a veterinarian or emergency animal services. For personal safety, contact local emergency services.

9. Data Security Summary

We use reasonable safeguards such as account authentication, access controls, and limited data collection. No system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your password and device secure, logging out of shared devices, and keeping your own copies of important records. See the Privacy Policy for details on what data is handled.

10. Local Storage

The current version stores data locally in your browser. Data may not sync across devices. Resetting the app, clearing your browser, or switching devices may remove your data.

11. Disclaimers

PawCustody is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any particular coordination outcome will occur. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NeuroBling AI LLC and PawCustody will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including those related to co-parent conflict, custody disputes, pet care decisions, veterinary issues, missed reminders, data loss, or user mistakes. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed $100 unless applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NeuroBling AI LLC and PawCustody from claims arising from your use of the app, your violations of these Terms, your violation of law, or your violation of another person's rights.

14. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for the service or others, or attempted unauthorized activity.

15. Changes

We may change the app or these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date below. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
